Sith Ranking Guide

This a ranking guide for members of the Sith within #JediOrder. Due to some recent confusion, this list has been complied with a list of three things that go in to each rank. The first is what the rank is, the second is what the expectations of the rank are, and the third is how you can get there.

Sith Adept:
To get this rank, you apply!

This rank is the introductory rank within the Sith. At this rank, you're a brand new Sith Initiate with little to no knowledge of the force, lightsaber combat, military tactics, or others. You have full access to the academy on Ziost for training, as well as the underground academy on Korriban. At this stage, you will self-train yourself until you can acquire a master to provide you actual guidance. Learning will be slow, but feasible at this early stage.

Sith Apprentice:
To get this rank, you need to find a master!

This rank is once a Sith obtains a master and can learned under the guidance of a Sith Lord or Sith Master. Learning will be quicker here depending on interactions with the master. Guidance on using force powers, obtaining new force powers, and creating a lightsaber will occur here. The apprentice will learn through the tasks of the master, and gain skills accordingly. The level of control a character at this stage varies based on how long they've been with a master and how much training they've actually accomplished.

Sith Lord:
To get this rank you can do a few things. You can complete your apprenticeship and complete a trial, you can do something extraordinary that furthers the Sith order, you can make a vast discovery, etc. Something that puts your character a cut above the rest.

This rank is for those who have completed an apprenticeship and obtained a decent knowledge of the force and of lightsaber combat. At this rank, you're about as powerful as the typical Jedi Knight. Not a master yet, but getting up there without a doubt. You should search for an apprentice at this level, or two, or maybe even three. So you can at least manage them and train them effectively. Not too many to where they won't get trained, but you can have more than a single apprentice. You should also be actively helping in the Sith war against whoever they may be fighting against. You're the upper end of the Sith, you shouldn't be complacent.

Sith Master:
To get this rank, you need to do something truly remarkable that furthers the Sith order, or is vast display of your knowledge or your power. It could be defeating a Jedi master, discovering a vital and long lost artifact, getting apprentices up to lord level, or helping to advance your power as much as you can. It should be something worthy of note from the Dark Lord of the Sith.

At this rank, you're expected to be a master of at least one skill. Whether it be lightsaber combat, a force power, or tactics, a Sith master should be just that. As you spend more time in the rank, you'll master other skills as well, which will help you on your way. The longer you spend in this rank, the more powerful you'll get as long as you're active and progressive. You'll be expected to help with the war effort, as well as actually putting that power to good use in whatever way you can.

Dark Council:
An admin position, members of this group are selected based on merit in the chatroom both OOC and IC, acting as a model for newer characters in the room. The Dark Lord of the Sith and other Dark Council members will appoint here.

Within the RP, these characters are the equivalent in power of Sith Masters, but have the added job of helping with the grand scheme of the war effort. At this level, plot stuff and deliberation falls upon this rank and the Dark Lord of the Sith.

Dark Lord of the Sith:
To obtain this rank, you must defeat the current Dark Lord of the Sith unaided.

Any other questions? Feel free to get the attention of a Dark Council member or the Dark Lord of the Sith to ask any more questions regarding these ranks or more!
